Protota Charitable Foundation is a registered non-profit that empowers underprivileged children and youth through education, health, mentorship, and community development.
Since 2012, we have worked with orphanages and partner homes across Kaduna and now Adamawa and Abuja, providing holistic support that nurtures the mental, physical, spiritual, and social well-being of every child.
What started as one woman's calling has grown into a movement — a network of homes, volunteers, coaches and mentors united by one belief: that every child deserves a real chance.

Our Story
Born out of a calling. Built on love.
Protota was born out of a shared passion to fulfil a calling: transforming the lives of orphans and vulnerable children. The journey began in 2012, inspired by Christiana's vision to give hope to the hopeless.
Formerly known as GIL Foundation, we have reached orphanages and partner homes across Kaduna, providing holistic support focused on educational empowerment, skills development, and well-being.
Two of our proudest stories: a former beneficiary who is now a clergyman, and another who has grown into a talented pencil artist — proof of what happens when love meets opportunity.
